Description

Family Heritage House, Inc. invites our community to an evening featuring internationally acclaimed Tenor Soloist, Recording Artist, Actor, Director and Producer Steve Higgins of Steve Higgins Productions. Steve Higgins has been singing and touring for over 25 years, performing favorites from Classical, Broadway, Ballads, Jazz to Popular musical genres with an infusion of Island music from his native Jamaica. Accompanying Steve will be talented performers Dahlia Wynter, April Marr and Oliver Mair. Local Jazz Guitarist, Liam Kaiser an SCF Music Major will open this evening of splendor.

Steve Higgins & Friends will showcase a gentler and more sensitive side to Caribbean romanticism; Ladies will leave enchanted, and men- who are often misunderstood- vindicated. (Sometimes men don’t get a chance to express themselves meaningfully).

The singers will demonstrate in a classy style, the romantic side of our ethos by telling stories through Jazz numbers, Sinatra-type ballads, Broadway standards, Jamaican & Trinidadian folk songs, Italian love songs and more. The folk songs performed in Jamaican parlance will be explained for everyone's enjoyment.
